Anne Marie Viavattine-St. John

Anne Marie is the director of Via Dance. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Dance from the University at Buffalo.  Her course work at UB included classes in many styles of dance.  Her technique is improved through her on-going dance study.   She has studied under Tom Ralabate, Jeanne Palmer- Fornarola, William Thomas and Judy Brondon.  Anne Marie continues to increase her knowledge of teaching methods and proper training through her dance education.  She was a teaching assistant while studying at UB.  She also had opportunities to participate in choreography and performance through Dancer's Workshop and Young Choreographers Showcase.  In addition, Anne Marie was a member of the Greece Athena Show Choir.  Through this experience, she has competed and performed internationally.  Anne Marie also choreographed junior productions of Into the Woods, Once on This Island, Guys and Dolls and Annie for A Touch of Children's Theater.  It is with enthusiasm and passion that Anne Marie looks forward to facilitating others as they "Express Themselves Via Dance!"

Our Facility

Via Dance Studio LTD is located at          59 Henry Street in the Hilton Community Center.  The studio is just under 1300 square feet and is on the second floor of the building in room 6B.  There is a large space where classes take place, equipped with barres, mirrors and a wood floor.  There is also a waiting area for parents and students.  Lockers are available in the hallway just outside the studio for students to store dance bags, jackets, boots, etc.  Students should provide their own padlocks and are welcome to store their belongings between classes.  (Via Dance Studio LTD. will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.)   Students are also asked to bring their own water bottles to class.  We ask that students bring only water to class; please, no soda or juices.
