Michelle recently finished Dean’s List and graduated from Fredonia State University with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and Dance. She studied many different dance styles while attending FSU including popular international styles. While there she studied under Samantha Kenney, Angelika Summerton, and Helen Myers. She was a member of Fredonia Dance Ensemble and performed in the main stage production. She performed many times in the student run Orchesis Dance Company and was also chosen to attend the 2011 American College Dance Festival with a selected group to represent FSU’s Dance Department. In addition Michelle is a performer for the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando Florida. She has been apart of Walt Disney World Entrainment beginning with their College Program in 2008 and continues presently as a seasonal cast member. Michelle has also worked as a Dance Director for the JCC’s Children’s Theatre program and has choreographed for MCC productions. Prior to her college career she danced competitively and won many awards; some including the highest overall score in her solo division and special awards such as “most fun and entertaining”. Michelle is overjoyed to be apart of the team at Via Dance and to show every student how rewarding dance can be.
